Old School Middle Eastern Recipes with Some Modern Day Twists

Tata’s Signature Salad

Tata’s Signature Salad

Tata’s Signature Salad is a wonderful go-to salad any time of the year. Our Tata (grandma) made this simple salad so refreshing by adding a touch of mint. Of course, her sweet tooth would always kick in, so she added a little bit of sugar to the dressing as well. I love how this dressing has a nice tart and cooling taste.

This salad would always be served along side the many dishes my Tata would make for parties and even small dinners at her house. Feel free to add more ingredients to your salad, but I always like honoring the original and elegant basics of romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, green onions, and a sprinkle of mint. Enjoy!
